Steve and Gigi acquired Lake Alpine Resort 80 years after the original lodge was built. Before that Gigi was (and still is) the best CPA this side of the Mississippi and Steve was generally contracting his way through the Sierras. They’ve spent the last decade shucking off the pervasive “lazy mountain resorteur” stereotype, working tirelessly to improve the Lake Alpine experience. They aim for the stars and with the head start of the Sierra peaks, they’re getting pretty close.

In 2018, their youngest son Abbott, joined the team. A perpetual student with a defining obsession with climbing rocks and the tiny living that goes in hand.
